The myHappymind programme is now a core part of Rodborough Primary School’s weekly routine, with dedicated time set aside every Monday morning for wellbeing activities.
Children in Years 1 to 6 use journals to support their reflections during the sessions, while early years pupils engage with visual resources, communication cards, and practical activities.
The programme is supported by the NHS and includes a companion app to help parents continue wellbeing conversations at home.
Katie Callaghan-Wright, headteacher at Rodborough Primary School, said: “We wanted to take a structured, science-based approach to supporting children’s wellbeing, and myHappymind offers exactly that.

“Having seen the programme in action and spoken with colleagues about its impact, we are confident it will make a real difference here at Rodborough.
“Staff and parents have been really enthusiastic about the programme, and the children responded with excitement when it was introduced in assembly.
“We are looking forward to embedding it into our weekly routines and seeing the positive outcomes it will bring.”
The school is supported by a dedicated ‘Happiness Manager’ to ensure smooth delivery and long-term success.
To help make the programme a visible part of school life, the school has created a central display board featuring the scheme’s modules and characters, provided classroom resources, and installed a large banner at the school entrance.
Staff members are also wearing My Brain pin badges to mark the initiative.
Further details about the programme are available on the school website.
