Experience
While working in advertising, Jeanette had a transformation that established her passion for health and wellness. It was also what prompted her to pursue a new career. In just three years, she completed 80 credits, a 9-month dietetic internship, and passed the national Registered Dietitian Nutritionist examination. By 2015, she was a full-fledged RDN.
As a dietitian, Jeanette uses her journalism and nutrition background to create evidence-based health and wellness content. In addition to writing, she also has experience in nutrition counseling, health education, meal planning, culinary demos, and recipe development. Jeanette has been featured in The Huffington Post, Reader’s Digest, Cooking Light, Self, and Spark People.
Education
Jeanette has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Rutgers University and an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Certificate from Montclair State University.
