A MENTAL health conference due to be held in Cockermouth next week has been postponed.
It had been organised by the town’s rotary club.
A spokesman said: “Due to the rise in Covid cases in this area and the fuel shortage, the Rotary Club of Cockermouth has reluctantly decided to postpone the Mental Health Conference due to take place on Friday, October 8, in Christ Church.
“The club hope to be able to run this event sometime in the Spring of 2022.”
